The head on the other side features a twelve-point socket, mounted pivotally, allowing the wrench to work at any angle within a 180° range. This makes it easier to work in hard-to-reach areas where a traditional ratchet socket would not fit. The rounded shapes of the transition between the wrench head and handle minimize stress concentration areas, increasing the tool's resistance to cracking.
